Made from first pressing of chardonnay , this cuvée was once nicknamed the «lace» of Champagne because of its fine and persistent white mousse. It is sourced exclusively from Grands Crus «Côte des Blancs» vineyards, partially vinified in seasoned oak barrels and comprised of 25% reserve wines aged in a solera style system initiated in the 90s. Aged four years on lees and a further ten months post disgorgement, it has a minimal dosage of 5g/l and is marked by the distinctive minerality of the chalk.
